Whose cup?
A cup is not one size. The United States measures 240 ml, the UK, Canada and New Zealand use a 250 ml metric cup, and Japan's カップ is 200 ml — so the same recipe line can mean a fifth more or less flour depending on where it was written. Australia shares the 250 ml cup but uses a 20 ml tablespoon, the only one of its size.

Why weighing beats scooping
These figures describe hemp seed measured the usual way, but a cup is a container, not a quantity.
